According to Barabaig folklore, a wise and powerful woman
designed and brought a beautiful fringed skirt to all the
Barabaig women. She said that the skirt would help protect
the women, their spirits, and their bodies. In the style
of these skirts, the Deity Bag tells this story. The Deity
Bag is made from 100% soft, supple suede like the
Barabaig skirts. The two hand forged brass rings are decorated with
traditional Barabaig markings.
Dimensions:
8" wide, 11" deep including handle
5.5" diameter brass handle
Interior is lined with a zipper coin pocket and bag
closes with a brass magnetic snap.
