Single Heart Necklace

Kazuri, which means “small and beautiful” in Swahili, began in 1975 with 2 women making handmade beads. The mission of Kazuri is to provide and sustain employment opportunities for disadvantaged members of Kenyan society. Driven by this desire, Kazuri has grown and today employs over 340 women. In addition to the income the women earn, they have access to free medical care for themselves and their families.

Each piece of jewelry created by Kazuri Beads is hand made and hand pained, making it a unique piece of art.
