These ear weights are popular with both elders of the Barabaig and Maasai tribes.
They may be worn as either an ear weight or they make great unisex necklaces. They are made from recycled metals: brass comes from old padlocks, copper comes from unwanted engine wiring, and the silver color (tin) comes from melting down unwanted Barabaig cooking pots.
