Shipping and Delivery

Our packages are sent via UPS ground transport. We can ship orders placed via our web-store to the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Via the site, we are currently unable to ship overseas, to APO or FPO Boxes. To ship to a PO Box, we suggest that you ship the item to the nearest UPS store, who will then call you for pick-up once your package arrives.

If you reside elsewhere or would like to ship an order outside the U.S. we will be happy to assist you. Please e-mail us at amias@anotherland.com to discuss shipping options.

Shipping Date

Orders typically ship within five business days. Once shipped, standard delivery normally takes three to five business days. You may request 2nd Day or Next Day delivery at an additional charge. For Overnight Delivery, orders must be submitted Monday through Friday by 10 AM Central Standard Time. Overnight Delivery orders shipped out on Friday will arrive on Monday. Please note that Two Day and Overnight Delivery refer only to delivery time and not to the time needed to prepare your order. While most orders are ready for shipping within five days of ordering, some orders take additional time.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an e-mail confirming that your order is on the way. Occasionally orders will require special processing by a customer service representative. In these rare cases you will be notified by email.

Note that shipments are addressed from our parent company, Another Land Incorporated.

Shipping Rates

The exact shipping amount for your entire order will be calculated and displayed at Checkout. Orders can be shipped to only one address. To ship to multiple addresses, you will need to place an order for each address. Shipping charges are calculated by UPS according to the total weight of the package.

Insurance

UPS insurance is automatically included for orders totaling $100 or less. If you order more than $100 worth of product, we offer you the opportunity to purchase additional shipping insurance. For orders worth $100.01 to $300.00, additional insurance is $2.00 For orders worth $300.01 and above, additional insurance is $0.60 per $100 of your order. If applicable, the option to purchase additional insurance will be provided at the time of checkout.

Mark of the Maker

Each Amias item is handcrafted by the Barabaig of Tanzania, bearing the individual mark of its maker. The Barabaig hope that you enjoy these one-of-a-kind works of artistry and that you see their individuality. Sometimes, cuts, scuffs, and other markings are, in fact, not flaws—they’re beauty marks.

Purchases

For all purchases, payment must be made at the time of purchase with one of the following credit cards: American Express, MasterCard, or Visa. By using a credit card for your purchase, you assert and represent that you are the authorized cardholder of the card, bound by the terms and conditions of the card issuer, with full authority to create a binding contract for the sale. Our Secure Server uses SSL (secure socket layer) technology for the purpose of encrypting your credit card number, name, and address.

Note that your credit card will be charged by Another Land Incorporated, which is the Amias Project’s parent company.

Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax will be added where required by law.

Return Policy

We have packed your merchandise with great care. Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery. Report any damages immediately and save all original packing materials for inspection or return. We will replace broken items when possible, or offer a refund on damaged items. Contact us toll free at 1-888-334-7559.

The Amias Project takes great pride in our merchandise, and we are committed to provide you with the best possible service. You may exchange or return the item(s) purchased on our website by courier with the packing list/receipt within 30 days of your date of purchase for a full refund of the item.
